    Triple XHP-50 driver help please

I have a triple XHP I bought from Cutter. The light i want to install it in is a Surefire Z3 Combatlight. I want to use 3x 18350 IMR's for power. I can set up the emitters in parallel (6V) or series (12 volt). I'm thinking 6 volt would be the only option. Thanks for any advice.

    365 NM Emitter recommendations please

After a couple of hours of reading I'm seeing that people like a good incandescent for trailing game animals. I'm glad I didn't buy one of those 145 dollar emitters.

    365 NM Emitter recommendations please

I need to build a good quality UV flashlight for hunting use (tracking blood trails). I gather that the Nichia NCSU033B driven at 700 ma is the best emitter for the job. Am I on the right path? I'm not sure about battery pack or driver yet. Was going to keep it simple and use a 2x 7135...

Ok, so you hear breaking glass in the middle of the night, what light do you go for?

Re: Ok, so you hear breaking glass in the middle of the night, what light do you ... "What light do you go for?" The Xtar WK42 that's mounted on my Sig P227. In my other hand is my Surefire Lumamax modded with a Cree MTG-2 @ 4 amps.

    SOB advice. Thanks.

No. LED+ is soldered to J5. LED- is soldered to J6. The board sits in a P60 drop-in and the outer ring is soldered to the brass pill. This is the pill: Mounted in the light:

    SOB advice. Thanks.

Exactly. The board is wired correctly. The sense resistors are there and are the correct value. Is there anything else it could be? I was just wondering if anyone has experienced this problem with this board and had some advice.

    SOB advice. Thanks.

The setup is at home. I'll recheck the Vf on it again tonight, but the emitter isn't the issue. I wired this board exactly like the old one. I bought two of these at the same time. Used one, it lasted for a few years and gave good service. When it finally went out I put my spare in.

    SOB advice. Thanks.

    It's not a Lux V, it's a Cree XR-E. Vf is ~3.2 volts.

I checked that against the values on your site. I don't have the board in front of me but the resistors were correct. Yes, drawing about 400 ma and low output. Thanks Wayne.

    SOB advice. Thanks.

Hi, been a while since I was in here. I wired up a new SOB917 into my EDC last night (Surefire L5 w/extension to make it hold 2 x 18650 AW batteries). The old board lasted a long time. I had a spare one on hand. Anyway, it only draws about 400 ma when hooked up to my power supply set on 8...
