I am interested in these, but I am on the fence due to the writing on the side of the head. Continuing the radial-cuts would make one of these a lot more attractive to me.
I just got a Concept 2 rowing machine. The LCD screen is a plain jane LCD with no light function built in. It is set up in a room without much natural or artificial light. I am looking for a recommendation on a battery powered, flexible neck LCD light that can illuminate a small 6" x 6"...
The plastic ring and metal flange are half of the problem. The inside diameter is the other half.
I can't speak for a Thrunite drop-in, but a Malkoff needs the ID opened up.
I am running a NB SST-50 in a bored 6P w/ 18650 and McClicky. I noticed that it was finicky about perfect conduction, and would flicker easily. I did two things two eliminate bad contact.
1. I polished the end of the 6P where the tailcap makes contact. I did this with sandpaper on a small piece...
Are you using a protected 18650? Many here think that's tempting fate with possible recoil damage to the protection circuit.
IMO primary 123s are more suited for use on a weaponlight.
I'm doing an initial break-in cycle on new eneloop 1900mAh aa cells. About 30 hours has elapsed. I programmed the Maha C9000 with the correct capacity for each cell. I am watching them charge and now each one is above 2400mAh. Is this normal?
