    Pocket Knife Suggestions

    A 3" blade is a good size. That said a good quality blade in 2.5 " will do most of what is needed in a day. A SAK is always a good thing to have while u are looking for the perfect fit. Buck, Spyderco, Benchmade, are good places to start.

    For the money get a handful of Energizer or Mini Mag lites or equivalent and put them in each room. Also buy a package of batteries. Have your personal lite handy.

    I agree with dosquetzales, my daughter has a keychain fenix(aaa) on her key chain and a small Sebenza in her purse. She doesnt put much thought in to them, but knows every inch of her 8 Dooney and Burke purses. I throw the number in because 6 of them she worked and saved and paid for them...

    Annoyed by non-flashaholics?

    i got used to low information users as an avid knife user. The people i am around has no idea of quality or perfomance. I also gave up buying good knives or lites as gifts. I find something on the lower end of a good manufacture. Its sad when a good tool gets put in a drawer and forgotten.

    Thoughts on the Buck 'Vanguard' hunting knife? (either the 192 or the 692)

    I was able to get a 692 in ATS 34 and a 192 Master Series overrun in BG42. Great edge geometry and edge holding. The shorter blade puts you close to what is being cut for better leverage.

    i took a D cell Kel lite and rolled over it with a semi. the weight on the axle end was about 8500 lbs. The head was bent, but it still worked until i lost it at the river years later.

    Recommend me some Headphones.

    Bose IE2 buds. They produce excellent sound from an Ipod. My non noice cancelling Bose take a lot of push from the Ipod. They have several sets of tips to fit your ear properly. I bring this up at this late date as they are on sale for $89.
