Fenix T1 Switch - Which Replacement?

http://www.lighthound.com/Fenix-Forward-Click-Tactical-Switch-for-E20-L-P-and-TK-series-flashlights-with-black-switch-cover-kit_p_2469.html they say the T switch also fits the L series, so then the L series on Fenix.com should also fit the T series. Hopefully I'll find out in a few days.

I just ordered the Lxx switch, so I can let you know when I get it.

    Streamlight HID LiteBox

SLAs are more reliable. I've already had plenty of NiCD and NiMH battery packs go bad on me (it just takes one cell). How many SLAs have gone bad on me, so far none. But with that in mind, it seems they are combining stone age tech with modern day prices. Overall it doesn't seem much better...

Admit it, you *all* do this, right?

Yup, Saturday. Some neighbors shot fireworks and I fired up the HID Thor to encourage them.

    surefire L2 vs fenix P1

I have both and like both, but the L2 is greenish, although not noticeable with use. The P1 works more like a focused flashlight and to me that seems more useful. It also is a nice size for a "mouth light" and can stand on end. I end up using it more than the L2.

Variable brightness lights: A fine idea

Re: Variable brightness lights: A dumb idea That's not sarcasm. Funny, but not sarcasm. Eh, I need to leave before I get banned.

Variable brightness lights: A fine idea

Re: Variable brightness lights: A dumb idea I think HayJab's idea is interesting. Why do you HAVE TO carry an A2 if you need two levels of light? Get an 8AN and a Dorcy LED. Then you have both at a cheaper cost and rechargeable. Certainly multi-level lights are nice and convenient, but with...

Ideas, tips and tricks to get extra mpg out of a vehicle

Thanks, that saved me spending money on acetone, I was almost convinced, and I should should know better, heck, we all should. What about mixing a little diesel with the gas ? Diesel has more energy per gallon (140,000 btu's per gallon vs 114,000 btus) :stupid:.

    Largest reflector?

Yes, Sleeper is a big aircraft bulb. Very nice, um, very nice, but not that easy to mod. With the 15mcp Thor and with the large one, you'll have as much CP as a maxabeam with a lot more lumens.

what is it like to be married nowadays?

Get married, but always hide a lot of money. Trust me. If it works out then great, it doesn't matter. If not, you have a nice stash to start over or hire a good divorce attorney.

    1,000,000 candlepower lumens?

Lumens, as said before are total light output. CP, basically, is intensity at one spot. CP is a function of focus, lumens measure how much light is coming off the bulb BEFORE getting focused, generally they are not convertable. So, you can have a maxabeam with 1,000,000 CP be overall less bright...

Are junkyard cars a source of HID parts?

Ebay, just look for headlight assemblies and they usually say if it's an HID. Occasionally, it'll be an HID and they will only mention that it has a "ballast" that's the give-away (incan does NOT have a ballast). The ones that only mention "ballast", email them and confirm it's an HID-those are...
