    Do's and Don'ts _ Storage Boxes

PMFBI... If you are planning to use the same storage for both tools and your flashlights, I think you should consider the "tool chest" type storage. On the cheap and light end, Plano has a 4 drawer tackle box (758-005) with a storage area on top (under a hinged lid). The basic design is...

    Sold/Expired WTB Used Milky L1

Wow. Smart man--but good luck finding someone willing to part with their ML1. I think that people who have them just flat out love them. I can't imagine ever forsaking mine for another regular EDC light--it's quite simply, the best combination of 2 speed/great battery life/overall size...

Flashlight drawing & renderings... [Complete light posted! 3/9]

Re: Flashlight drawing & renderings... Check in the folder where your data is kept or in the program folder. It might still be there... Most programs by default periodically back up your data file (working drawing) as some kind of temp or .bak file. I've used AutoCAD 12, 14 and 2000 for...

Re: My EDC layout or My L1D is better than your L1D!!! Hey, I like that light with the funny pistol kinda grip and trigger type switch! lol are those silver things the batts? Actually, I'm a 1911 kinda guy myself--got a coupla few of them. .45 is the way to go, no use screwing around if you...

    Nobody Prefers Single-Level Lights?

I have always preferred single level lights (1 speed, full blast)...Then I got my Milky ML1...I can't begin to explain how useful this light is as an edc because it's 2 speed. I really thought (when I got it) that I'd be using mostly "HI," but in practice I find that I use the "low gear" much...

    Surefire L1 * w/ Cree

I concur, the Milky ML1 is the only way to go with an L1. Even when the production version comes out with the Cree, I'd be willing to bet the Milky version is still better.

    Best 2 stage light low/high

For EDC, it'd be hard to beat a Milky ML1--if you don't like the LED tint, you may try asking him to use one of the warmer tinted LEDs which will give better color rendition. L2 (and even A2) are marginal for EDC due to size, IMO.

    SF Lanyard attachment ring...

Hey thanks for the help guys, the Xacto blade did the trick...then I went and stuck this lanyard on the light in the groove...(hope this picture thing works, never did it before...) http://i124.photobucket.com/albums/p28/osomatta/ML1SFuj.jpg

    SF Lanyard attachment ring...

Thanx for all the replies...Gonna try again with the X-acto blade (with safety glasses on...lol). IMO, the ring is clearly designed to break away under high or sudden force, the tongue and groove fastening certainly looks like it anyway. However the assembly is a bugger to remove without...

    SF Lanyard attachment ring...

Does anyone know a "non-destructive" method of removing the black plastic two piece lanyard ring thingie on the SF L1? I saw it in pieces, but can't figure out the angles of da dangles to undo it... TIA for any info you can provide...
