    Thanks for the advice Justintoxicated, I contacted Zebralight and they had me send the light in for repair. I guess I'll just have to work with my old H501 till it gets back.

    I dropped my H51Fw while taking it off of my head, it hit concrete near the switch. The modes still function like normal but the light gets really hot fast in any output mode. Is there a way I can take the light apart to try to trace down the short or is it time to scrap my favorite headlamp...

    The park has large, dark open fields just north of the pavilion. The tree line is around 275~300yds. You can also check out this Youtube video I made for my subs. It only shows the ~120yd field just South the pavilion. In the video I'm using a JetBeam BC40w, maybe it'll help you get an Idea...
