I still have my two i made i have the smaller Thor and the bigger one both with a cheap 55w hid kit. Still quite fun lights mostly because people laugh at the the size of them lol.
Don't think he is coming back, he was last on in 2018, hope i am wrong as i always wanted one of those insane lights.
Hope he is well whatever he is doing now.
The programmed latching high just means that once the light is on you can move 4way stick right and it will stay on high, you can program these settings yourself with various button presses in different combinations.
So the usual way the light starts up when you press the red button is it goes...
I do wonder if you would be better of sending it back the the seller if you have the option too and getting a XeVison XV-LX70 or XV-LX50 which in my opinion seems a better light all round.
Looking at a few of the specs of the lights:
Arc2
4500lumens
1600m Throw Distance
5.8pounds weight
3ft...
That really does work well in that light, i still have a few older lights that could do with some nice bulbs like that.
This site also has a range of LED dropin PR bulbs i have the Maglite 220lumen dropin which is great.

Its definitely possible to swap in a new LED for that light back when the XR-E was the main thing in lights when the XP-G came out i remember lots of people swapping them in all sorts of lights back when that was most of us did before the million and one lights that come out now with the latest...
Re: Taking The Heavy Iron Out For A Walk In the Park
Its funny in the other thread with the LX-70 superpower i though to myself BVH should bring some other big lights out but thought it would be too much to ask :), so thanks for doing all this.
Now just need someone with a AN/TVS-3 or Carbon...
That superpower has some serious throw :), some great pics and comparisons.
Working out from the FL-1 4250m distance quoted for that light works out to 4.5million candlepower and it certainly shows in those pictures.
Thanks for doing all that for us to have a look at :).
I tried to have a look searching in google for lamps for sale but i think you would need to know the specific bulb make/name as putting in "lighthouse" did not always come up with much.
I did find this 1000w HID lighthouse bulb not for sale though but might help you in your search as they seem...
