    okay, so i did as hkj suggested in post #5 above, the voltage drop on the negative cable from the icharger to the battery fluctuates between a high of around 0.045v and a low of 0.01v, it does stay a bit longer on 0.02v though so i've decided to take that reading as 0.02v drop which makes 20mohm...

    true, i measured some of the 18650 cells that i pulled from laptop batteries and the internal resistances varied from around 250mohms to 500mohms. so the imrs did consistently have lower ir but being old laptop pulled batteries, i didn't wanna base my conclusions on them. ah, too bad about the...
