    Great work & results! I didn't have time to read the entire thread so I apologize if it's already been addressed. My early 90's 6 D cell mag light is still in great shape and I was wondering what can be done with it. I would like it to be usable with a lot of throw. Any ideas?

    Keep talking... how would I go about putting that together? I'll search Fivemega and Z59. Already have and love the IMR 16340s. Will this set up have the same/ish run times as the Nitecore Extreme Q5?

    Thought it might be time to check back in and see what the latest & greatest in 16340/ single RCR123 is. Still looking for ridiculous throw and low low for up close work. I am still super happy with my nitecore extreme Q5 XR-E and if I'm going to replace it I want a holy cr@p moment.

    Re: Nichia 365nm Light offerings I've been wanting a 365nm light for quite sometime to locate scorpions on our AZ reptile photo shoots. I also would like it to work well in hotel rooms to justify always bringing a sleeping bag. What current set up would your recommend?

    I've been wanting a durable true 365nm for sometime. Every time I go to buy a flashlight it turns out they built the first few with nichia then switched to their own stuff or the lights just get horrible reviews. Is someone putting together a batch order?

    Thank you for the great reply. It's hard not to think that at 470 lumens and 7000 lux it wouldn't out throw the Nitecore Extreme XRE Q5 just by brute force. Not much a smooth reflector could do to help throw on the BC10?
