Personally i prefer to roof bounce my flashlights if i need a brighter desk.
(Also 3 hours is not long enough for you to call it something that no one likes, there are some people in the world who are still asleep )
You can get like these single sided sticky ones that attach to the gorilla pod I'd just be concerned with the heat output of the light when using it. But a AA light's heat is nothing to worry about. The only problem is that you need a flat surface
Re: Nitecore "Tiny Monster" TM11 (4x18650, 3xXM-L) Review: RUNTIMES, BEAMSHOTS, VIDEO
The base doesn't open. The included stiff wire is used to pull the lanyard though (nice touch by nitecore)
I think that 60 deg is maybe a bit too hot for the sensor to cut off personally it's on the very...
You have to realise that the tm11 can only run on 2000 lumens for about 10 min (mine has done 15 min on a cold day) Before the thermal protection kicks in. the 2000 lumens is really only for short periods of use.
I'm sure it is regulated, just like all the jetbeam and nitecore lights are but I can't seem to find any sort of run time graphs or similar. How is the regulation on the light (whether turbo or at 1200lm)
I too am inexperienced with the led world but I think you should try to get the light to lower it's output when it's take out of the water (measure the resistance across two external contacts i.e a water detector). Then you won't have to carry as much metal out of the water.
Early 20's, Still young. Spend almost every dollar I make into flashlights. Do lots of camping and <3 scouts and scouting. Into engineering and technical fields.
I am planning to extend my HP11's run wire so that the battery pack fits in my pocket. I want to have a waterproof connection where i splice the wire. How do i do this?
I've heard of just using heatshrink over a soldered wire but any further advice i can get would be very helpful :)
