    What Resistor do i need for 10W 5V 1050mA led

    An LED's resistance drops as it warms up. Using a fixed resistor will cause it to start drawing more current as it runs. Then it gets warmer, then draws more current, etc. You need a fixed current regulator. You can find these pretty cheap AND small. Look for MR16 LED driver or bi-pin LED...

    Always in the truck is a little 1xAA L3 Illumination L10 in an olive color. But during camping season, in addition, it's anyone's guess. But usually, it's my JetBeam T4 Pro.

    9!? Quit bragging. I get 8 when towing. It's abusive. I'm really crossing my fingers that I can make this happen. I booked site 38 just to be safe. I can always cancel if I need to. It'll only cost me $5.

    Yeah. Ha ha. Just a bit. A 23ft Hybrid that opens to 30ft. Sleeps 10. The LED strip and my entire microcontroller hobby is all thanks to this site and the work I did with AlanB. Always looking to make things brighter!

    I don't need hookups. I can go a few days on battery and tanks. No problem there. I'll see how things are working as the dates arrive. Looks like 4:15 to drive, probably closer to 5 with the trailer. Nice and close to I-78 though.
