Review: Imalent HR20 XP-L HI Rechargeable Headlamp

I know you and a few others have had the knob come off but I wasn't able to duplicate that issue. I pulled hard on the USB several times attempting to duplicate it and it didn't budge at all. Mine laid on it's side for almost an hour and a half and not a hint of water ingress. Sideways cups...

    Review: Olight X7 Marauder

Olight sent me a set of replacement cells for the X7 and with them the light functions perfectly. Tested it with my new 30Q and it worked great. Popped in the new cells from Olight and it worked great. Popped in the original cells that came with it and it won't stay in Turbo S. Definitely an...

    Review: ThruNite TN42 LED Searchlight

Re: TN40 or TN42 or TN42c I've no clue. I think the other guy's guesses are pretty good though. :) There are only the TN42 and the TN42C (rechargeable) models. I'm sure the "ED" designation is something that seller came up with.

    Review: Manker E11 - AA/14500 XP-L

Nice review, Budda. I may have to pick up an E11 one of these days. I had no idea it was as small as a Thrunite T10 twisty. Remarkable!

    Review: ThruNite TN42 LED Searchlight

No electronic lockout but a slight twist of the body gives mechanical lockout which is more reliable and has zero parasitic drain. As for step down I don't know. I'll have to test it and let you know. ;)

Review: Acebeam EC50 Gen II Rechargeable XHP70 Compact Flashlight

Almost forgot to answer the EDC question. Here in the northeast, come October, the temps drop enough to wear a jacket and this is a perfect jacket pocket light. Definitely too big to carry in pants pocket, unless you wear cargo pants, when I'm not wearing a jacket, I carry in a holster. The...
