    as am i, i checked the TSA web site and they recommended to carry li-ions on with you (carry on), instead of packing as luggage. the flight crews are better able to deal with battery problems should they arise if they have access to the batteries. make sense to me.

    +1 on what joe1512's recommendation on the M10R, but i think the run on max for 3+ hours in your list is not going to happen on these flashlights. they will run on reduced output though.
