    This is very interesting that the single red led can discharge the 16340 in almost 3 hours. Mine took 6 hours and the light shut itself off and the battery was still at 3.45v. Something is very weird about the EC1 quality control. JD

    I am in West Coast USA. I have already done the latter part of your request many times. I am using a AW RCR123. It reads 4.18 volts 1 hour after it is taken off of the charger. It will either flash 4 volts or 3.10 volts in the EC1. I have two different cells that do this exact same thing...

    What's the biggest and baddest LED flashlight that you have?

    I just snagged a Olight X6. Didn't need it, but you know how the want vs need argument goes. LOL I use it all the time right now because it's new. As the "newness" wears off, probably very little and ill be back to using my EDC the most. JD
