    Gift options, Fenix E11 or 47 p0-ss?

I'm not in US so can't get the deal. :( Anyway I'm pretty sure what I'll do now. If it was for myself I'll pick power no question, but aesthetic is an important factor here. Will buy the p0, and if she likes it then good, if she wants something more powerful, I'll buy her a 123a light later on...

That's interesting to hear, certainly made it more attractive.

I can drop in a lithium in there now, but when it needs replacing I don't think she'll buy them at $5 a pop. So the high mode on E11 probably isn't useful consider alkaline can't sustain it. Oh and rechargables, I don't think any non-gadget people will bother with it, and she isn't one.

    Gift options, Fenix E11 or 47 p0-ss?

Yeah online would give more options, but for a cheap light like this it's just easier to drop by local store to pick one up. Didn't know e11 is a clicky though, thought it's twisty like the previous E family members.

    Gift options, Fenix E11 or 47 p0-ss?

Girlfriend has mentioned she'd like a flashlight. So with valentine's day is coming up , I though I'd give her a flashlight instead of chocolate and make her fat. These two options are available in local store, with good mix of quality/price. E11 is more powerful, but bigger, and I guess...

Flashaholics possibly in more danger during an emergency

Re: Flashaholics possibly in more danger during emergency Good time to find out about your cell company's email gateway, many companies offer a way to send email via text message, or even convert to voice mail to a land line.

Using your phone as lux meter?

Its what I have too, but you can use the built in function that gives much better reading. Type *#0*# on your keypad. Sent from a Galaxy S2 far far away

Using your phone as lux meter?

I searched the forum but didn't see anything. But many of today's phone comes with a light sensor which gives pretty good lux readings. Has anyone tried theirs with flashlight to estimating lumens?

Proper Flashlight Etiquette for Approaching a Stranger in the Dark

Have someone else shine at you with your light at 800 lumen, even with spill it's still annoying as hell for eyes adapted to streetlight. I know I'd pissed if some stranger does that to me.

    Wrist watches

I've seen the adapter albeit not the zulu one, they actually look decent. But the nano is smaller than some of the watches out there too. Sent from a Galaxy S2 far far away

$3, I think it's worth it. Of course I found out after I bought that it's available free on Samsung apps for Samsung users...
