    I just ordered a la crosse bc-700 and a pack of eneloop XXs (AA). Curious, I ran the "test" function on the charger and the capacities of two of the batteries were about as claimed: 2,490 and 2,570mah. But one of them came out to a whopping 3,160mah!     Zebralight H501 Part 2

    I'm surprised to hear this. I bought my H501w in May 2009 (17 months ago) and use it every day. So far it's given me nothing but faithful service and beautiful light- except once with dirty contacts (which isn't really the fault of ZL, and is easily remedied).

    I had a problem with similar behaviour in the past, and was equally disappointed. However it turns out that this simply caused by a dirty contact and easily fixed with a bit of sandpaper glued to the positive terminal of a battery. This was a year ago and I haven't experienced any problems...
