    Best rechargeable cell for a non-bored 6P/dropin?

Thanks! I've used LifePO4s before but I can't seem to find the pair I had lying around. I guess I'll have to either get a SolarForce host or 17670s :sigh:

    Best rechargeable cell for a non-bored 6P/dropin?

I just picked up a new XML drop in that can handle 2.8-6v but 18650s dont fit and 2xRCR123s would be too much voltage....what is the best rechargeable cell for this setup?

    Anyone remember this penlight?

It was probably a specific brand of the common doctor's penlight. Was it like one of these?

Issue with Surefire e1e / Veleno 3 mode drop in

No worries. I think the fact that the E1E I had was from 2008 might mean it was part of the older batch. Not sure if the newer lights are tighter but it's almost impossible to get a more recent build of the E1E anymore. It hasn't had a single hiccup since I secured with a bit of copper tape.

The 300A scoutlight from Surefire looks exactly like the E1B shown above. What's the difference?

Your Best Homemade Accessories and MacGyver-Like Flashlight Applications

Re: Your Best Homemade Accessories and Otherwise Macgyver-Like Flashlight Application Surefire E1E has this type of clip. I hate it when I want to clip it to my pocket, but it's great for clipping to my hat.

    Are you color blind?

Just tested it. I'm not colorblind. (my wife would disagree though based on how I dress :nana:)

Almost 24 hours now without power

This is exactly the reason it's good to have a few lights that have low modes and use common cells. Longer run time, less cells used, and in the event that you exhaust your rechargeables - you can go to the store and buy a pack of alkalines.

    SureFire E-Series Addicts Unite!

Just got my Surefire E1E-BK and Veleno 3 mode HCRI drop-in. I had some contact issues with the module. Whenever the light would move around in my pocket, it would stop working and I've have to unscrew and reseat it. They used to ship with a small piece of copper or brass tape (or so I've...

Issue with Surefire e1e / Veleno 3 mode drop in

I just recently picked up a brand new Surefire E1E and the new Veleno 3 mode HCRI drop in. When I tested the light with the standard bulb/surefire 123 cell it works perfectly. I inserted the veleno drop in and a fully charged AW rcr123 cell and the light wouldn't come on. I unscrewed both...

Novatac Special Ops (2x123) - Does the 250 click backdoor work on this light?

I've heard it works on the storm and the classic, both of which are non US made models along with the Special Ops. I figure it uses the same internals. I've search everywhere here and can't find confirmation that it works on this specific model.

What was your first loved flashlight?

Definitely the one I bought new at a gunshow in 2002. The Surefire 6P(N) I still have today. It actually had the N designation on the package, I believe because it was the only model at the time that was certified by Surefire to be waterproof. They said that the minute you opened the lightto...
