ICON Modus 1 and Modus 2
I bought one of these (Modus 1) from Fry's Electronics. Really nice light, just melts right into your hand, VERY easy on the eyes functions like a 50 lumen backup light! one major complaint though... The plastic ring/lip that holds the O-ring in place broke off. I was changing out batteries and...- L.E.D.

Inova X1 V4
Wow. I love the V4 X1. This thing sure has a tight spot, they did a ridiculously good job on the reflector geometry! What's more, it seems to have a flat regulated circuit now. I tested out a brand new alkaline and got a reading of around 500 mA. I then grabbed a random half-discharged NiMH...- L.E.D.

Knowing
This is pretty much exactly how I feel about this movie. I found it kind of funny how they made the aliens' propulsion system at the end make them appear like angels, how those bands of energy spring from their back in that wing-looking pattern. The "Garden of Eden" at the end was also amusing... -

Is There An LED Light That Can Compete W/The Surefire M6 HOLA?
Always the problem with regular LED projection... Way too much surface area + intensity variations across the die(s)... Too little energy density... Time for that to change, folks. The Fenix TK40 gets pretty close, actually, it's huge perfect hotspot with a narrower brighter area in the middle...- L.E.D.

In celebration of the TK40.
Definitely a hell of a light. For some reason I was expecting a little bit more throw, I was hoping it would outhrow my Led Lenser P14 with both on turbo (momentary turbo on the P14), but the P14 just BARELY edges it out on throw alone. The EXTREME beam quality more than makes up for this. Fenix...- L.E.D.

Newbie Q about P17 Led Lenser
So much misinformation floating around about the NEW line. First off, continuous turbo works just fine with NiMH's, there's a resistor in the HEAD that turbo mode still runs through, three resistors total in the lights with the multimode switch. Heatsinking is just fine, area near the heads heat...- L.E.D.

Re: LED Lenser P5 - is anyone EDC-ing it? I use it as my EDC once in awhile. Definitely a nice light, though it sucks down an alkaline real quick, 50% in about 45 minutes, it's taking 1.5 amps off a fresh alkaline. Great with rechargeables though, better runtime curve due to less internal...- L.E.D.

Hahahahaha.. You'll eat your words when I have a pig pulling off perfect falsetto's.. Seriously though, I've looked all over the net about this and can't really find anything worthwhile, nobody really knows, of course there's people making speculations and some "know-it-all's" that think they...- L.E.D.
