I suppose it may all boil down to Leadlight not checking the pointers properly before they are shipped.
Firstly, I do not believe that Arnold is modifying his pointers and I have the proof from the 75mw peak/55mw stable review model he sent me. I have done extensive testing on this model and...
Cool vids maestro - almost blew up my speakers.
The DMX control maakes a hell of a difference to slow the effects down instead of the laser running wild regardless of the type of music playing.
Re: SD-031 Laser Video (Big Dipper F-02 look-alike
You will need DivX to view them - http://www.divx.com
Also 'right-click > save target as' is better for downloading videos rather than having media player open it directly.
You can check for InfraRed with an old camera LCD this will explain if the crystal is bad
- but don't look down the barrel.
I bought a green laser and a tree...
Well yeah CNI do have the FDA approved model upon request but the letter is for information purposes of what is required for certification.
Sorry should have made that point that it is history - it looks at first glance as if it has just happened.
No probs...
There was the warning letter to CNI also on there - might be worth putting the link here after all it is to do with FDA and US regulations:
CNI Warning Letter
(Basically a previous warning to CNI to make their PGL-III FDA compliant).
Re: Evaluation of a CNI PGL-III-473nm laser module
...that stopped my order. Its a real shame and bit of a catch really - I suppose less than <2mw would mean that no output at all would be in specification.
I think you should contact them though and get a replacement - $1000
Re: Evaluation of a CNI PGL-III-473nm laser module
I'm interested into how LaserGlow got the beam so visible from only 2mw's of power:

Any chance of some more beam shots Craig? I'm thinking of getting one of these.
Well lets throw a spanner in the works...

They are NOT connected in any way to CNI and they manufacture their own designs - I have proof of that from the vice president of the company.
Not trying to take sides...
Jtice's link is down...
Sgannon's K500 video re-hosted due to popular request.
I will not delete it this time...the last was due to an unreliable host.
BTW: If anyone else needs laser vids hosting please email them to me.
No probs.
K500
This laser is for the ladies... especially the pink one.
Lol, lets not get into that again.
BTW: A standard Jasper from Bigha (without the curves) - has a constant switch too.
