Do not get too hung up on the life expectancy caused by the fixture. At 30,000 hours at 3 hours a day that is 27 years. Dropping that to 25,000 hours still means 22 years - a very long time. What is wrong with Low Self Discharge Nimh? 18650 is very dangerous. If unattended like in a closet they can drop to below 2.7V when they will explode if recharged. Looking for LED equivalent for 60W incandescent E16 bulb
60W equivalent LED bulbs need a lot of heat sinking for long life. E14 bulbs are small. At this time forge it. By the way you need 9.5 to 13.5 watt bulbs to equal a 60W incandescent. LED lighting for a factory
T8 and T5 seem to indicate existing Troffers. Take a look at Troffers at the Cree website. Search. You may be able to swap Troffer for Troffer which would make installation easier. Also less shadows than a single very bright light.- LEDninja

Source? Read your insurance policy. All of it. Line by line. It differs by company and kind of contract. In Canada it is the law that only approved/certified/listed equipment can be plugged in. In the USA it is up to the specific insurance company that you have a contract with.- LEDninja
