I think you’re right, putting filters conventional LED lights just might render art pieces differently and enhance the artsy look. I’ll definitely experiment on this at home. :twothumbs
As for you suggestion, sounds interesting. I’ll discuss that with my kids since they’re the painters, lol
Hello Derek, and thanks for your reply.
I talked to a photographer friend of mine and he basically said the same thing you said –near daylight Kelvin and at least a 90 CRI. I guess that rules out filters then.
But while looking at some of those Lee filters I think I might try experimenting with...
I recently acquired some recessed LED bulbs like this http://www.illustralighting.com/4-recessed-led-1.html for my work area where I do a bit of painting as a hobby. They’re warm whites at 3000K and 83CRI, but I noticed that sometimes the color of my pigments seem off (a bit cool) as compared to...

Just how long of non-usage would I want to keep the batteries out?
Would I have this...
I was looking online at LED flashlights and some say 9 LED, some say 32 LED, and some say 100 LED. What does the number stand for? Output intensity? I know it does not stand for the quantity of flashlights in that auction because they are all 1 item auctions.
Thanks for your input!

I wouldn’t worry about the switching mechanism of the Razor line. With an impact resistance of 1m it should be sturdy enough, and based from the pictures on their page it looks quite accessible and easy to switch on. But looks can be deceiving, so I’m gonna have to test it for myself. All in all...
Any remote device is an active device, meaning it'll have constant draw on the battery. Has the power to the receiver to got a signal from the remote?
For example, the old alarm would drain the battery in about 3 weeks if the bike wasn't ridden.
Don't know about the LED kit. When my husband...
