    Not sure why the C Indestructable won't work with NMH. Not even 1 photon. Tested it with regular C alkalines and it works fine. All the rest, AA, AAA, D, and headlamp work fine on NMHs. Caution with the NMHs, due to their lower internal resistance, I think they may be overdriving the LED...

    I bought some of the Rayovac 100 lumen 2AA Indestructable lights at Home Depot a while back. Conducted my own runtime tests and got 10 hours on high and 21 hours on low with 2000mah Duraloops. I believe my tests are rather conservative, so YMMV. If I remember right they were only $15.

    When converting from color to grayscale the formula is: 0.21 R + 0.71 G + 0.07 B It is weighted for human eye response. No type of units were given, but I have seen and used 0 to 255 for each color in Paintshop Pro using the above formula.
