    Torx Set for Spyderco's?

Should we evoke Torx-Plus? Grrrrr. Torx may be Torx, but there is also Torx-Plus and sometimes that can be an issue. Mark A.

    Best flashlight O-ring material..and more.

An excellent source for O-rings and for technical information regarding them is www.applerubber.com Apple Rubber sells to the aerospace, military, and medical industries, to name just a few. A good source for small quantities is McMaster-Carr, which is www.mcmaster.com McMaster also has a...

Small problem with a Wee NS

I made a sleeve on a lathe out of PEEK plastic to hold it in. This sleeve also takes some slop out of the battery compartment. The sleeve holds any pill in place and can be removed if desired. I don't have the ability to post an image but I could e-mail some to anyone interested in making one...

Questions on thread profiles and cross-threading

Wikipedia has a good primer on screw threads, at this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screw Clicking on the link for Metric will produce great detail. I believe they list some rare threads as well. Also, any copy of Machinery's Handbook will yield a lot of good info; for instance, the...

    Streamlight Nano> Awesome!

Lighthound sells them for $6. BrightGuy sells them for $8, and has very reasonable prices on batteries. If you would buy 392 batteries from say Home Depot, you'd pay around $3.00 each, so a swap-out would cost $12 (twice what a new light sells for). They are great little lights.

    New CR2 Raw.

I want one in sterling silver if possible, and aluminum if not. I check the Lummi site frequently to see if they are available yet.

Sales Thread -- La Petite Killer

I received my Petite Killer with the "reversed polarity converter" yesterday and gave it a good examination today. It appears well designed, well toleranced, and expertly machined. Its small size evokes industrial jewelry. Viewed this way, the selling price is a bargain for the workmanship...

    Recall of La Petitie Killer

Fred, Too bad about all the headaches on this small, custom light. I give you high praise for your communication with your customers. As before, PEEK sleeves can be very useful. I will weight the options you have presented, and let you know later. Again, kudos for your honorable...
