    How close will the production KL5(Kx5) look like this?

    In a perfect world they would have kept the same head design as the previous generation KL5 with the tapered base, but oh well. While I don't thinks its the butt fugliest design(a stretch, i know), it would probably look better on a Z2 series body... maybe. Bah, its all about the performance...

    Yea, not quite sure what to think of the looks either. Also, at first glance it seems quite long, but trying to guesstimate the dimension, it looks as though it may be the same length as a traditional KL3/5. Maybe someone that handled one at SHOT can chime in?:grin2:

    Thanks and thanks again everyone! I called StreamLight CS and they said to just send it in for a replacement. I just wanted to know if it was a common occurence. BTW, it is s/n 0760xx. jtice - nice setup:rock: I'm thinking about running a TFO front sight, Mepro rear on my 19.

    Just bought a Steamlight TLR-1 and I noticed that at 5+ yards, there is a bit of a donut hole.:awman: Anyone else experiencing this? Also, would it be reasonable to expect similar runtime to the SL Survivor LED since they are both 3Watt LED's powered by 6V...
