    Irrelevant, Ultrafire doesn't make 4000 mAh cells so it's not an xxxFire. It could say Panasonic 4000 mAh. What people need to learn is to stop buying cheap batteries from eBay.

    If you will not buy any light that has a single complaint on CPF then you can stop using flashlights right now. We're lots of people who are using iTP A2s and A3s and don't have any problems with reliability. Also, "very small" and "handle 14500" defies the laws of physics.

    You will probably have to pay more than $15 in customs fees for the ZL anyway? For your wife, get the ITP A3 Q5 SS (that starts in medium unlike the newer models). Otherwise very cheap and somewhat reliable means a single mode AA (if you buy from DX).

    Actually CR123A and CR2 are sold in every convenience store in Japan. They are not cheap and are mostly for cameras, so they may have been available the whole time.
