Interesting concept. You would definitely need some sketches at least to start with. It's not a bad idea to model everything in a solid modeler (even something free like sketch-up would give everyone a better idea) I haven't been doing much with any of this recently, I've been really busy...

Here is something else I made just for fun .:whistle:
A 6" ball inside of a 6" cube. made from a solid piece of 6061 Alum.
The trick was machining the last side (when the ball drops)

This is my first post because I'm a new LED tinkerer. :D
I'm building an LED bike light for trail riding at night.
I am having a hell of a time finding the right LED Boost driver.
The battery I want to use is a 7.2 v 3300 Mah NIMH (RC car battery)
For the LED's, I have a Luxeon...
