    ZL H502 on 14500?

14500s work fine in mine. However you have a couple things to consider. The battery tube is short. My protected cells are too long for the tailcap to tighten fully which mean no worky since it has annodized threads. Also, the positive contact can be finicky. Some flatter top cells may not make...

Zebralight SC600 Modded with Triple Nichia 219 and Carlco Optics???

I think with the size of the head even a quad may be possible. I'd part with a large sum of money for multi-emitter sc600.

    Zebralight SC52 & SC52w

Re: Zebralight SC52 Your taste is YOUR taste. I like the ZL UI just the way it is and wouldn't buy their lights if they significantly changed the UI. It sounds like you have no need to concern yourself with Zebralights since there are plenty of other brands you listed that fit YOUR needs...

    Zebralight 2AA light?

Actually I think the idea of two LEDs AND reflectors is pretty darn cool, even if they are identical. 2 LEDs at half the current of one is going to be brighter. It could also be driven a little harder than the sc51 thanks to having a bit more mass. Aww hell with it, just make a mini triple with...

    Test/Review of Intl-outdoor NCR18650 3100mAh (Blue)

The Sanyo 2600 certainly does hold a higher voltage than the Panasonics. While the overall capacity is lower (when fully discharged), the power is much more accessible. In fact, if remaining above 3.5v is your goal, you are sacrificing quite a bit by going with either Panasonic. See this graph...

    ZebraLight SC600

Thank you so much for pointing out this holster. I just got one and cut it down. Once I thought about it, I realized that if I cut it down a little more I could even use the nub for the split-ring to lock it in. I actually intend on inserting the light from the bottom like this (sorry for lousy...

    ZebraLight SC600

Why did I bother to "preorder" the light when they are shipping lights out to vendors and the vendors have them in stock while I sit here on my thumb? Seems messed up to me.

    ZebraLight SC600

Same here. Actually... I ordered on the 12th. I'm assuming there is another batch that they're just waiting to get off the slow boat. And for those who got ones with out the step down and are complaining, do everyone a favor and sell them on CPFMP. There are plenty of people who would like to...

    Will 2 IMR 16340's burn out a P90 or P91 lamp?

And what exactly would be the benefit in that? So a low resistance circuit is anything not including a flashlight body and a switch? So then you aren't wrong, your point is just irrelevant, because they're talking about using the LA in an actual flashlight, with unknown resistance. The p91 may...

    Will 2 IMR 16340's burn out a P90 or P91 lamp?

I've seen you post this many times and I was just wondering if you consider your hosts to be a "low resistance circuit". I've run the same p91 for many hours in both a 2x26500 FM and 2x26650 FM (the latter is actually the copper 26650 with extension). No flash here.

    Zebralight SC60 is being discontinued.

I'm a little late to the party (or funeral), but I'm sad to see it go. I love my SC60w and don't have another light that comes as close to being the "total package".

Callie's Kustoms 18650 High Discharge Battery Review

Discharging one of these @ 10A I get 1862 mAh discharged to 3v. @ 5A its 2095 mAh to 3v. Unfortunately my AW IMRs are about 2 years old now so I can't make a fair comparison.

AA vs CR123...have your views/usage changed over time?

Wrong. You find me a 16340 (actual size) that is 800 mAh at a useful current (say 1A) and you can have my entire light collection. I assume you meant 18350 at the end of your sentence and even then, I haven't seen any tested that reached 1000mAh. 18350 SHOULD have a higher capacity than a 14500...

XENO E03 XML neutral a MUST HAVE!!!!!

Re: Xeno E03: Discount Awesomness You know, I don't think the E03 is really all that good, BUT it is an XM-L light, its AA light, and you have a choice of tints. Its hard to argue with its appeal. I own two. :)
