Will Trustfire 16340s fit in the Quark mini123?

Re: Will Trustfire 16340s fit in the Quark 123? I can only give you a subjective opinion on the performance of the two lights: The mini123 hotpsot is about the same brightness as the ITP A1, but the mini's is larger by about 10 to 15% due to the XPG-R5 led ( same brand battery, both...

Will Trustfire 16340s fit in the Quark mini123?

Re: Will Trustfire 16340s fit in the Quark 123? I have the mini123 and the ITP A1. The protected trustfire 16340's will only fit in the ITP A1 and these are the cells I am presently using. These cells do not fit the mini123 ( as previously stated ). The difference is if you look inside the...

what was your last light bought in 09? mine was...

4Sevens Preon1 I'm a Purdue alum, so I ordered the black one as well as a separate yellow/gold body tube. We'll see how the gold and black look together - if it's more yellow than gold, I'll just find a Steelers fan to sell it to......

I am annoyed by Nitecore's clip

Re: I am slightly irritated by Nitecore's clip I installed my clip as is ( no bending or loctite ) by alternating a half turn or so on each screw so that they both pulled the clip to the flashlight body evenly. I don't know if that is exactly what helped, but I've edc'd the light for over a...

    Quark Mini 123 small review.

The ITP A1 would be a great keychain light as well. A1's knurling isn't as grippy as the mini123, but you can still operate it ok with one hand. The attachment point for the keychain ring is in the center of the light, so it hangs more straight down that the mini123. mini123: XPG-R5, more...

your most expensive flashlight...was it worth the price?

Nitecore D10 and Yes. Of my 16 lights, this was my third purchase and it has been my favorite light since.... although the 4Sevens mini123 may have displaced it as my edc.

quark mini AA & CR123 users thread

Pummy - Thanks, I hadn't noticed that. The ITP A1 has the bottom end of the battery cavity milled flat, so that's the difference. Maybe the mini123 couldn't be milled flat due to the way the lanyard/ring attachment was made ( better since it allows tail stand ). I have some battery station...

quark mini AA & CR123 users thread

I received my mini123 and ITP A1 Wed. via first class USPS after placing orders for both on Sunday - just in time for Christmas! Amazing order turn around by 4Sevens and Going Gear! This is my first purchase with the "buy 'em" both approach since I couldn't decide which one to get. Some...

quark mini AA & CR123 users thread

I ordered an ITP A1 today that I read in another thread can be lego'd with the mini123. It has a clip. I hate to do this to my first quark, but my edc is always with a clip. I think I am now a confirmed flasaholic. I thought I had gotten myself sobered up as my collection has been steady...

What was the last LED light you purchased and why?

Akoray K109. Why? because I needed a quick flashlight fix while I'm waiting for XP-G based lights to hit the market in volume. Besides, it's a 3 level programmable for around $20 - why not buy one?
