Interesting article on new Battery technology from Toshiba for automotive use. No mention on type of battery chemistry used but the specs look interesting:
"The main claim to fame for the SCiB battery is that it can recharge to 90% of total capacity in fewer than five minutes. Toshiba also...
Just getting started on my collection!
Mag 3D with Terralux TLE-6EXB
Fenix L2P
Fenix E0
Ultrafire EMR1
UltraFire C2
UltraFire C3 (2AA)
UltraFire B3
MTE 1AA SSC-P4
Romisen RC-F4
A few of Eveready Plastic 2D & 4D lights
I have an UltraFire C2 HAIII (not the Q5) and I'm using UltraFire RCR123s (protected Silver colored ones from KD).
The C2 is very bright with these - but I don't have any 18650 to compare so not sure how much difference it would make running 18650 instead.
Interesting BBC article on OLED Light Bulbs;
Natural light 'to reinvent bulbs'
The clock is ticking for light bulbs
A light source that could put the traditional light bulb in the shade has been invented by US scientists.
The organic light-emitting diode (OLED) emits a brilliant white light...
I have ordered from both KD and DX. DX keeps you better informed about the shipment as they send you a mail to confirm order and another when they actually ship.
Also I like the search function on the DX website better.
Just my 2 cents.... YMMV.
Check this link out - nice video showing how to replace a laptop battery pack.

You might want to check eBay for the Terralux TLE-6EXB. I bought one from an eBay seller and it was $21.99 + $2.80 for International shipping from US.
Was definitely worth upgrading my Mag3D with this dropin. Very bright and white beam.
Article on some funky looking watches that use LEDs instead of hands.
From the article: These watches may look as though they’re from a future era, but the LED-based timepieces could be just the thing to adorn your wrist and compliment your I-LUV-UNIX T-shirt...
Just saw this on Gizmodo:
The article says that it uses "7 high quality LEDs". No mention of type of LEDs used.
Cost $ 1185.
