    Higher power 18650 for ULtrafire C2-Q5

    I have an UltraFire C2 HAIII (not the Q5) and I'm using UltraFire RCR123s (protected Silver colored ones from KD). The C2 is very bright with these :thumbsup:- but I don't have any 18650 to compare so not sure how much difference it would make running 18650 instead.

    Which place is better to order from? Kaidomain or dealext

    I have ordered from both KD and DX. DX keeps you better informed about the shipment as they send you a mail to confirm order and another when they actually ship. Also I like the search function on the DX website better. Just my 2 cents.... YMMV.

    replacing Maglites with LED

    You might want to check eBay for the Terralux TLE-6EXB. I bought one from an eBay seller and it was $21.99 + $2.80 for International shipping from US. Was definitely worth upgrading my Mag3D with this dropin. Very bright and white beam.
