Due to a change of work (no night work anymore), I have been out of the game for a very long time.
Now I need a 4xAA with a mechanical rotary switch for modes (and on-off too if possible)
I have one like that - a Sunwayman M40A which I like very much but clearly is quite outdated now in terms of...
Something like this costs AU$ 800

Anything similar but non-medical so it will cost much less?
It needs to be powered from 220-240v source, has adjustable...
I have been using protected cells only. If I use unprotected cells in K70, how do I know when to shut down the light to prevent overdischarge?
Doesn't K70 have overdischarge protection (light shuts down when cell drops < 2.5v)? If not then does it have battery indicator LED (eg if indicator LED is red then we know to change batteries)?
So K70 it is then.
I ordered it at A$242.95 from liteshop (Aus). Now which batteries to get?
Acebeam says "high drain unprotected 18650 cells, or protected 18650 cells which PCB including 3 MOSFETs"
But some here on CPF had serious doubt about that and suggested normal 18650 cells should be...
I agree that quality can be an issue when buying Chinese stuff from eBay and the like of Gearbest. But I have been running 5m of 12v warm white 5050 LED strip under a TV shelf and 10m of 240v white 5050 LED strip on the ceiling for last 14 months at about 4-6 hrs a day without any problem (in...
How many Samsung bars and which driver / PSU did you use?
I plan to do some indirect lighting that would require 10 metres of LED strip / bar
I am thinking of this PSU

and these bars: 0.5m 8520 36 SMD Rigid LED strip Bar...
I thought the batteries in cars are proven to last as the first Prius was made longer than 10 years ago and they did come with 10 years warranty on battery packs?
Why all phone, tablet and laptop batteries certainly will have about 50% capacity after 2 years and many will be dead on year 3
Yet the batteries in Toyota Hybrid cars and Tesla new Powerwall are guaranteed for 10 years
What's the difference between those Li-Ion?
