    Wired this up the other day and the Magicshine works fine with it. The display does not work but that is no big deal, I just adjusted it to the same output as a fully charged battery with my multimeter. I have a motorcycle type on/off switch on order which will make it a lot quicker to switch it...

    Great, Magicshine 4 x 18650 battery pack gives 8.4V at full charge, would the lamp be using under or over 2A at that voltage?
