Magicshine Cree XM-L: possible to power from 36V ebike battery?
Wired this up the other day and the Magicshine works fine with it. The display does not work but that is no big deal, I just adjusted it to the same output as a fully charged battery with my multimeter. I have a motorcycle type on/off switch on order which will make it a lot quicker to switch it...- niggle

Great, Magicshine 4 x 18650 battery pack gives 8.4V at full charge, would the lamp be using under or over 2A at that voltage?- niggle

Hi, first post on here :wave: and this topic is interesting to me, I am a keen cyclist with experience of all types of bicycle lighting and have built quite a few bike wheels including dynamo hub ones. Recently I bought a Novatec EDH-2 dynamo hub, still on Ebay at the moment for £22.54...- niggle
