CPF UK - AND NOW THE 2018 PARTY STARTS!

Bloody hell Jay! Glad you're better now but jeez that sounds rough. Anyone up for a Bath area meet? (The City not the washing receptacle!). Before Xmas? Nycto.

Tent. Checked. Bed. Checked. Temperature tonight? 15 Celsius. Might get some rain. Let's see if I can still camp at my age!

Nice lantern, Jay. Also, great phone - deffo 700 series - 746??? Once spent a day recording them at the GPO museum in London. Does your ringer work ok? (Ooh er missus...)

Welcome to UK chat Katherine indeed! You'll love the LEP. Jay, We've got several sabres, my son and I. Mostly from Ebay (Chinese and a single UK dealer (For Rey Skywalker's version)) but we did order direct from Saberforge - which was by far the most expensive, but also possibly the best in...

    Light Review: Fenix E03R, E28R and E35 V3.0

Nice review, Sub. Your voice is reassuring, but slightly Hypnotically level. Not in a bad way. I've EDC'ed an E03R for about seven months now, on a neck chain (I.D. tag ballchain type) and I'm very happy with it. As you may know I am inclined towards lights with more than one type of led...

Happy New Year Chaps! Let's hope we get a chance to meet up this year. Hope everybody is hale and hearty and still enthused by all things bright and therefore beautiful. Deffo bringing my lightsabres to the next meet up. Maybe some torches too! Happy 2021.

I'll send you a pm about it, but I'd prefer not to post it here. Everybody on that group seems to have some very 'Bling' lights, hardly feel like I am a worthy member with my worn out and scuffed lights. Still, nice to take part in a forum that has some regular postings.

Jay, I commented on your collection on Torchaholics FB. I couldn't find a UK moniker either!

Excellent idea, Jay. I would love to come, but I must decline this time. Really wouldn't do well to catch this virus dominating the news, currently - so I am putting my family first and we're basically shielding for everything apart from essentials (Supermarket, chemist etc). This is truly sad...

    HDS Systems #23

I'm not sure if I would find much use for a lower low, the one I have on my 325 EDC seems optimal for me and my night vision. Mind you I tend to use my Amber HDS for nights thee days. Also a higher high is not a priority as far as I am concerned. If I need a very bright or long throwing light...

    Amber HDS?

Yup, that's an old K6 telephone box - circa 1935 - sadly ornamental only, as is the Post Office. Well, I do not really know, just the standard Amber HDS which I got recently from Knivesandtools.co.uk. The order only gives a output of 250mW - no LED type or info. Just to say it is not as deep...
