    Green Quarks

    One R5 ti mini 123, seawead green. One R5 ti mini 123 that is pretty neutral & is superior to the other light in every way. One regular ti 123 clipless R5 that I won the lottery on also, neutral just a warmish tinge that helps the depth perception a little more than the cooler lights.

    switch over to cr123 type lights?

    I have a couple, but just DX lights: Ultrafire C3 Stainless Steel q5. They are very bright, cheap, made of stainless steel and have decent runtime. They also can get hot and if you run out of charged 14500's you are out of light. I like them and just keep them in jacket pockets for edc use...

    stingy with flashlight

    I wouldn't have problem lending one out, but I have no neighbors. I like getting friends interested in the hobby & how to appreciate what the different lights will do. It's fun to watch their eyes light up when they turn on the light and get something they had not expected. Be kinda weird...

    Are all red filters like this??

    I have been using the Fenix red filter from a P2D and it works great. Much sleeker and no funny stuff. I just leave it on when the light is in my pocket as it also helps protect it.
