    Should have qualified my request. between idealy 2 cr123 rechargeable. But i'd be happy to go to 3 if there were significant gain. tossing up if i should replace my current HID and EDC's with just one LED or if i still need to go for 2 lights...one for run time one for throw/output.

    Yes i have a few.... The larger lights are 50watt 4200k. the smaller ones are 35watt 3000k with yellow filters for easier sighting (being seen in fog) I use the blue filters to lift the colour temp a little when driving in snow as i much prefer the result, all other times i drive with clear...

    hrrmmm....looked into doing this. (300watt option that is) You will need a reflector from optiforms to cope with the heat, an integrated heat sink/housing (can't remember the optimal surface area off hand) that is thermally connected to the reflector and bulb with an electric fan at the bulb...
