    Re: 14500's and high-setting flicker on SC52? I have had mine a few days. Bought it from another member on the market place, he had bought it as a Christmas gift. I have not noticed a flicker, though I haven't ran a whole L91 through it yet. I am waiting on some protected cells to show up...

    Your vote on the CURRENT best bang-for-the-buck light with these 2 stipulations:

    Romisen G2 from ShiningBeam. They usually have updated versions with either warm or neutral LEDs and a better driver. 1xAA, 1-mode, forward clicky, simple! Great great great lights. And they are cheap!

    Single D cell emergency LED light

    Shame this doesn't come with a Red and or Amber dome. Would make a good road side emergency light. I am tempted to pick one up but the $45 is a killer for me, unless someone gets one and reports back that they are awesome.
