I thought of that too. I hope they fix them before reselling them.

I'm sad to report one more issue that happened just once last night. On the one SC700d HI (out of the three) that has been seemingly working normally, I clicked it in every way imaginable for 3-4 hours straight last night on G5, G6, and G7 (wife was out of town, so I had the time and the desire...

The physical buttons on all 3 of my 700d HI's do not "feel" defective. They all have the standard "click" we all know on our ZL's (I have many many ZL's, and no physical difference in each "click" that I can tell.) My guess is a software issue, but I see where your hunch could be right. It...

Sadly, "Yes" to both of your questions. I just tried it with both. The first light cut off on my first try with each option you listed. The second light didn't take long.

I'm not sure I understand your question, but I haven't observed any issues on these lights related to a "double-click" or if I "slow down on the double-click." In other words, these two lights don't shut off (or at least haven't yet) after any sort of a double-click. So far, they only shut off...

GOOD NEWS and BAD NEWS - The New SC700d HI 1) The Bad - I ended up ordering 3 of the new SC700d HI lights. 2 of the 3 have a BIG problem. When I hold the button down to cycle through low and then to medium, if I stop there and lift my thumb both lights sometimes cut off. If I do this and...

I'm reporting a strange issue with my recent 700d HI order. I received a notification from USPS that the package ZL sent to me "was found to bear counterfeit postage and is considered Postal Service property under USPS regulations and will not be delivered" to me. I just sent a message to ZL...

YAY! I’ve been checking everyday for the SC700d HI. I just pre-ordered 2, so hopefully these are good to go with no issues. I’ll report back when they come in.

I don’t know the answer to either question, but my order took 21 days to arrive.

The names are confusing. The "Plus" refers to the use of either the XHP50.2 or the XHP50.3 LED's. These LED's push 2400 lumens compared to the previous LED used in the SC600w MK IV HI that pushed 1400 lumens. You probably already know this, but the large 50.2 and 50.3 LED's make the light...

I received my new SC600w IV Plus HI (3 of them). The beam profile is almost identical to the smaller SC64w HI (discontinued light) with one more higher output mode (around 2400 lumens I'd guess --- as of the writing of this, Zebralight has not yet posted outputs for each level.) ZL's website...

I wanted to drop in to let my fellow CPF’ers know the good news as well, but you all beat me to it. I just pre-ordered the new HI light (hope it's great). I noticed the beam profile is a bit different from the previous SC600w HI. The new light is 80*9*; whereas, the older version was 80*8*...

I hope more/new zebra’s are coming out. Does anyone know for sure? I’ve been watching their list of lights dwindle down to the few that are left on their website. I’d love to see if anyone knows more. Thanks!

Hey nascar, I'll buy your SC600w HI Mk IV if you still have it. Shoot me a PM if interested. Thanks!

What is the most reliable AAA keychain light?

I'd currently recommend the Jetbeam U - very small, lightweight, & very nice. Regarding your reliability question, I've had a Fenix LOD for something like 13 years. It was on my key chain for most of those years and runs just as good today as it ever did. It's all knarled up from countless...
