Could someone recommend me a light?
im looking to change up my edc light and am looking for something like the 4sevens mini AA / maratac AA, fenix LD15
simple, twist on and off, 2/3 modes and no nonsense. want something with a bit more runtime than AAA (already have one)

Re: want to get out of the cr123 game
if that suits the technicalities of my post, thats fine with me
i just cant bring myself to throw these light out but dont want to keep buying primaries in bulk to not use them
recently started a new job with a new uniform and had to change my edc. Realized that i dont use my cr123 lights enough to keep stockpiling the cells for them
so im looking to give them a good home instead of just throwing these into the bin
from left to right
petzl signal (not a cr123 but...
to anyone wondering, yes im still using this light regularly, its held up great sofar and i often use it for work around the house and as toolbox light. lighting up anything from crawlspaces to the insides of electronics very happy with the stylus pro
as far as i can tell neither the new microstream or the stylus pro has threads on the head. so the trick with swapping the head for the fenix or olight head is out with these newer versions
i googled and found a short youtube video which shows how to get the guts out of a maglite
http://youtu.be/NZ4gQl19Klw just turn your volume down, loud music
hopefully this helps
im assuming its the assembly which holds the lightbulb.
from what i recall from other posts you had to remove the switch and under that you needed to loosen an allen-screw and the switch and lightbulbassembly would slide out.
im not sure if its for older maglites nor do i remember the thread...
Re: AW: Maglight Solitaire - Why not an LED?
please do, i cant seem to find any pictures of the new version. no beamshots, no photos of the new set up, nothing
i contacted 4 sevens yesterday and received a fast response.
unfortunately this response had bad news. cutting and pasting it here. so i might have found a 'local' dutch source for cr123s but i was unable to help other international buyers. good luck everyone to finding new cr123s
We are...
the thing is, i was very happy with 4 sevens, being my supplier for 4/5 years. now i suddenly have to find another reliable source that can provide batteries. local is a complete joke with prices between 6 to 11 for a single cell. trying to get the cheapest possible deal on a website like ebay...
well im going to send an email to 4 sevens soon asking if they think they can send batteries internationally again, dont have a lot of options otherwise
