    New E30R arrived. I will carry the new one and probably stick the other one someplace handy in case. If I wanted to switch parts to see if the issue was in the old tail section etc is there any way that it would effect the new light? Thanks again to all.

    Cleaned it and it didn't help any. It doesn't have a removable tailcap, I didn't do anything with the spring because of that. I will give that a shot later today probably.

    There are times when I have to loosen the cap and retighten it for it to work. It doesn't seem to be because it isn't tight enough because I have tried to tighten it more in these cases. It only works if I loosen and retighten the cap. Seems odd to me. It gets to be somewhat of a pain at times...

    Really nice. How about they make it a lantern that converts into a flashlight with a removable lantern attachment? Probably been suggested a million times before this.

    Regarding "burglary tools" I wonder how many flashlight enthusiasts carry a legal pocketknife and or multitool on them like me. I also have lock picks in my wallet for an emergency lol.

    Two proprietary 18650's for my NiteCore TM-03. They are already sealed in a vacuum bag in the fridge. I don't know of any other light that uses them so I thought I should get a couple.

    Received the E30R yesterday and I am very pleased. The beam profile is what you would expect with a large hotspot and lots of spill. The tint is fine for me I don't really like the warmer tints and no green as I have heard about with this light. Seems even smaller in hand than similarly sized...
