Sorry for bumping an old thread...but my experience with these AA batteries have been mixed.
Generally, they seem to be holding up ok, but I don't think their runtime is on par with the big names.
On several recent occasions (3 or 4, so far) I have pulled them out of a toy and found them to be...
I purchased a pack of these a week ago--they are a very good deal, as long as they perform well. Haven't had a chance to try them yet.
Anyone figure out who manufactures them? I notice they are made in the USA.

Sorry for the delay, I am so busy these days I rarely even get to lurk!
The drive worked fine, BUT created a ton of EMI, which was so potent that my AM radio would click and pop while coming up the driveway!
I removed it and ordered the Xitanium. Works just as well with zero interference.

My Vanson has a discharge cycle...not sure if it is a true break-in or refresh cycle.
I will try running a set through the cycle and see what happens.
I searched the net and found out that there were some issues with programming which caused problems in this model camera. Apparently, if this...
Interesting!
I read somewhere that some cameras are particularly voltage sensitive. I have used lithiums in the past with good result. Darn things are pricey!
The camera came with a (pretty decent) charger and batteries, so I would think that it is designed to handle lower voltage. I love...
I have a Sony Cybershot DSC-W5 which takes 2 AA bats. I use a Vanson charger (BC1-HU?).
I noticed that the camera's performance has been suffering lately. I checked the charge on the Eneloops and they are coming off the charger nicely topped off (I don't recall the voltage at the moment)...
Just a follow-up:
I purchased this: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.13690 and it works beautifully. I didn't want to drive the LED's at 320ma, but I can always dim the lights by placing a filter lens or something.
I figure that even if it is terribly inefficient, it still has...
We tried several options, such as a dimmable lamp plug and several types of night lights. They were either too bright, or they resulted in a bunch of strange shadows, or they didn't illuminate the baby well.
This is what I did for our nursery:
I built a simple decorative wooden box, leaving...
Duh! Why didn't I think of that?
Thanks, Silverfox. I did that by accident...sorta.
I had 4 of my older 2500 bats, which should have been in the same state of discharge. I noticed two were fully charged much faster, and this was my initial indication that maybe my battery fleet is tiring...
I have a Vanson charger (BC1HU, or something like that), and it does not have an analyze function.
Due to shorter runtimes, I believe some of my batteries may be pooping out. How can I determine their health? Their voltages appear normal, but I know that voltage is only part of the story...
I believe my current fleet of Rayovac Hybrids (and a few old Kodak 2500's, which have been good batteries) need to be replaced, and this thread (and a couple of others) sealed the deal for Eneloops.
I think my camera is also a bit sensitive to voltage. Though it works ok with the current bats...
Thanks tiktok (and everyone else) for the advice. It is very much appreciated.
I am leaning toward a new hard drive, as it shouldn't cost too much and shouldn't be too difficult. It will add more (internal) storage, and just might enhance speed a bit.
The new install will allow me to prevent...
Excellent responses. I am in no hurry, so I will have time to think it over.
With my current computer, I have been very diligent in weeding out unnecessary programs/files and only allowing select programs to run at startup. Of course, updates are all there as are the security necessities...
