    Could you post a picture with the clip mounted on a HDS? I am unsure how the clip will fit the tail, since it is thicher than on the Arc4+.

    The McR-27 and the McR-38 have the same focal length, so looking at this : http://dmcleish.com/CPF/reflectors/38-mm-mm.pdf gives a distance of 2.41 mm. I meassurred the distance from the top of the emitter to the slug to 2.61mm, so the top should go 0.20mm into the reflector (thats why the hole...

    And if you hold T-lumens, emitter dia. and reflector dia. constant, you would get more throw by using a reflector with a smaler focal length (a more "flat" reflector) - like using a McR-27 instead of a McR-27L.

    nemul, have you used a spacer in the setup? I am asking, sinse my experiense with a LuxV and a McR-20 gives a gigant doughnut hole. Are you using one of the new LuxV with round heat sink slug?
