    I'm going to make a suggestion to you.. Get the Surefire R1 Lawman. I know you said its out of your budget, but if you are willing to spend $220 at this point, why not save up for just a bit longer, and buy it. I own 3 surefire lights, and the lawman is, by far, my favorite. I'm a Police Officer...

    Nice to see some fellow LEO's here. I too am on the job. I bought the Lawman, and love it. Can't wait to use it at work. It's super bright, and I really think the beam pattern it kicks out is perfect for law enforcement use. Be safe.
