    How bright do you need it to be? How about this Energizer Folding LED It’s inexpensive at just $3.29 and puts out some decent light. Maybe mod it with a remote switch?

    No cut traces that I can find, I checked the led connection its good. Thanks for all the help, I just don’t have enough experience to know what’s wrong. I think I’ll sell this one and get something that can mod without a EE degree.
