    Anyone sell a quad Nichia 219B P60?

I have one of Vinh's quad drop-ins, but made with 219b (v1) 4000k 93CRI LEDs instead of the 219c listed as standard. I'm not sure if he has any of these LEDs left, but if he does he's certainly happy to make drop-ins with them instead.

Zebralight SC600 MKIII HI BUY IT!

Just a heads up. If anyone is having trouble finding one of these in the UK/EU, please PM me.

I purchased two Zebralights, boy am I sorry now

Zebralights are well known for meeting or exceeding their output specs. You certainly have a problem somewhere if it is not near what it should be. 1. Are you sure the highest mode is programmed to H1 and not a lower sub-level of high? 2. What batteries are you using?

    Petzl Tikka vs Tikkina

Having tested both I think they are the same apart from the tikka being driven slightly harder (the runtimes look the same on paper due to the way ansi measurements are taken, but a proper curve should show the difference) and the tikka having a clear lens versus a frosted one on the tikkina...

I've sent you a PM. EDIT: Just to note (without bumping to the top again) that the headlamp is now sold.

Hi Chris, I would normally PM but it seems I can't until you've made a few more posts. I've had an as new H600fd mkIII for sale on another light forum for a while. Please just Google 'wts h600fd' if you are interested.

    No more nitecore for me.

It was only in hot temperatures. The air inside the light would expand at the same time as the plastic button getting softer, allowing for it to inflate like a balloon. A new, more silicone like material, fixed the problem.

    New Zebralight SC5

    Fair enough, let us know how you get on. One side-note, you may be surprised how lightweight the SC62 and li-ions are: Zebralight SC5 58g + Duracell procell AA 23g = 81g -- (48 lumens 5.6hrs) Zebralight SC62 42g + NCR18650b 18650 45g = 87g -- (70 lumens 30hrs) I'll admit the SC62's length may...

    New Zebralight SC5

Hey, I'm really not. It's your job and I haven't done it, so while I can think to myself that rechargeables can't be that much more effort, I can't even say for sure what I'd do myself in your situation. I'm serious about the SC62w possibility though. Have you considered 18650 and not needing...

    New Zebralight SC5

I completely understand not wanting extra hassle. But isn't carrying around primary cells, regularly swapping batteries (and finding a bin to throw away the old ones) almost as much hassle anyway? With rechargeables I would expect you to have to do a bit less swapping batteries, so the extra...

Zebralight SC5 and SC5w First Impressions

Bear in mind that with the 14500 you can just let it rest for a few seconds and turn it back on in the lowest level if you really need more light. But you will risk more deeply discharging the cell. Also, the old 750mah AW cell that selfbuilt uses is not the highest capacity available right now...

    Beta QR quick release V2

Thanks, I've tried it out now and it does give it a boost on all levels. I only have old blue trustfires so max amps is around 0.9 on high. I read 0.1 and 0.3 on low and med respectively. I'm happy it doesn't go any higher tbh, the copper handles the heat really well but the efest results in the...

    Beta QR quick release V2

Yes it's a 219a. They come in different tint variants but the a is bit less efficient (especially with boost circuits as it has a slightly higher vf) with slightly lower CCT as well. Has anyone tried running their copper version on 10440? I know they aren't supposed to be compatible, which...

    Beta QR quick release V2

I have just received a copper beta QR too, and was also having trouble with this problem. It would happen mainly after a few quick cycles, but sometimes on only the 2nd or third twist (to enter med/high). Anyway, I tried cleaning all contacts repeatedly and reseating the spring etc but the...

    Armytek Wizard/Pro Thread

I think there will be natural variation. The tint on my Tiara A1 I find practically perfect; that's just a touch cooler than 5A tint, maybe a 4D tint. My V1.5 Wizard was slightly yellower (less red), I'd put it as a 4C or 4B. My new V2 Wizard is quite dramatically more green/yellow tinted than...
