    SkyRC — IFA 2014 — MC3000 charger-analyzer

Manual shows some impressive options. I may have to put this on a future wish list for sure, but first I want to see what how reviews pan out.....

Is the Powerex MH-C9000 and LaCrosse BC1000 still among the best NIMH chargers?

Get another Maha.... I guarantee you will not regret it, it is the best AA/AAA charger investment I have ever made and to top it off, Maha has excellent customer support! Just be mindful of the 2 hour top off after "DONE" and your batteries will work great and last a for a long time...

Ni-Cd or NiMH for yard solar lights?

Sorry, meant the battery. I even tried to charge them in my Maha and one cell had such high IR that the Maha wouldn't mess with it and my dumb charger doesn't charge Ni-Cd or least says not to. My lights are not top of the line by any means, but I would not want to mess them up. Wifey would...

Ni-Cd or NiMH for yard solar lights?

Yeah, mine are part shaded. I don't have a spare Eneloop laying around, currently using/rotating all my quads in my application. Was more thinking about just buying a cheap NiMH quad and throwing them in there if I could. I am clueless about Ni-Cd cells, I should have done some research...

Ni-Cd or NiMH for yard solar lights?

So I have these Ni-Cd AA powered solar lights in my front yard I purchased from Wal-Mart awhile ago. I have been noticing they dim out within a few hours after dark. Was thinking of replacing the cells with NiMH cells, but I am not sure if that is recommended or not? They each came with a...

    AA Rayovac 2400mAh?

Yeah, I already have a quad of the Ion Cores. Got the Rayovacs to play with more than anything....still breaking them in at this time, will post end results when they are done. Not to worried if they end up being crap cells, I'll just pass them along to my son for his Xbox controllers. Just...

    AA Rayovac 2400mAh?

Discharged them out of the package and got the following: 1-1724mAh 2-1753mAh 3-1755mAh 4-1730mAh Started a Break-in right afterwards, we'll see what happens.... They are made in China and have no date code on them, that I could find.

What's your favorite place to buy batteries and chargers?

I ended up going back and forth with them quite a bit. They ended up practically paying for the Powerex quad with the $10 certificate. It was only Amazon who I interacted with, since they were the actual seller and shipper of the quad.
