    TK60 or TK70

They are big on quality so I know they will. Then I will buy my TK41.

    TK60 or TK70

If you think about it, this is probably a problem in the assembly plant and I would expect many lights to have these issues including the switch problems that others have remarked on.

    TK60 or TK70

The TK60 for sure. The TK70 is not for general use at all, it's a monster. Make sure, though, you buy from a dealer who will give a refund or exchange if your TK60 has issues such as those some have posted.

    Fenix TK60 not so good

None of my Fenix lights have had defects. Send it back to the dealer for a replacement. If the dealer says there are no non-defective lights to replace it with, ask for a refund or an exchange. My point is, we should not have to accept defects that bother us. My TK40 is my favorite light of...

    SHOT Show 2011 Discussion Thread

Let's not speak in a manner which suggests that any of us or any vendors associated with us would get caught up in an FBI investigation, certainly not by attending the trade show of interest here using improper credentials or other attempts to gain entry. The FBI operation referred to occurred...

    SHOT Show 2011 Discussion Thread

I guess the only issue I might have with all this is the request to close this thread and the action taken against 4sevens. But I'm just a corrections officer, not a lawyer. Can we just have someone who attends make some postings about what all goes on? I would be happy with that. Don't want...

    Jetbeam RRT2 Problem

Nekomane, nice job how you ran that problem down. If my RRT-2 has such a problem, I will look at the tail switch pc board.

    undecided newbie

Welcome, cinders. I haven't owned any of those lights so I won't remark on them. I will say, though, continue to research the lights that interest you. You will eventually know enough to comfortably make a decision. That's what I do. I have bought only a very few lights that I regret...

    Help choosing AA light

I recommend the Fenix LD10 or the 4Sevens Quark AA. I like my LD10 so much I can't really be objective.:ohgeez: I don't know much about the inexpensive lights as that isn't my interest and the only drop-ins I have bought have been Malkoff's and they are for the 123 lithium batteries. Why...

    Secret interest

I do not need to keep my flashlight collection a secret but wish that I had someone to worry about worrying about me. At the same time, I would not tolerate being mothered as such. Perhaps that's why I'm still single? I do spend too much, though. If you make me feel any worse I'm going to...

Malkoff Hound Dog Vs 4Sevens Maelstrom G5

Re: Malkoff Hound Dog Vs 4Sevens Maelstrom G5 Vs Elektrolumens DeCree XPG I have, intuitively, followed this guide throughout my life. I just spent over 300 USD on a Hound Dog and parts from Malkoff Devices. It took me awhile to be able to do this. I have no regrets. Allow me to add this...

    **New Flashlight Standards Just Announced

So why does it have to be "gay crap?" As a software engineer, I came across standards. They cost money because they cost money to implement and to maintain and to disseminate. Their worth will be determined by how they are used. If, perhaps, Streamlight, Surefire, Fenix, and, say, a dozen...
