    The MAELSTROM X7 with the XM-L LED has been released at 4sevens!

    If this is the case then why do they make flat top cells at all? is there a benefit to flat tops?

    I got my 2D wired up and working a week or so ago. very bright and I am using a rebel deep reflector so it throws pretty well. I measured 3.15 amps at the emitter. Great simple mod I really like it. I would like to make a 2x26650 mag C like this. Thank's

    XM-L reflow

    SO I ordered some 14mm pcb boards from KAI and using some solder paste along with a frying pan on the burners I was able to reflow the bare XM-L's onto the 14mm rounds. And they work, I know I was too amazed. So you can reflow on a stove. who knew. that is all just sharing my joy.
