    To be honest, I'm not too familiar with the U2. Does it have a two stage switch? If so, you may have to transplant the guts of the switch into the Standoff tailcap.

    Bump! Copper has more heat capacity than aluminum. However, I believe that most people order copper for for aesthetics. Switched means it has the electronic switch installed in the tailcap. No switch means you'll need to provide your own switch mechanism.
