My first two that I bought are my beaters. Right now my old 6P is mounted on my AR with an M61 in it and my Fenix T1 is standing by for really rough work.
They are scarred so they continue to get rough duty. The T1 has been dropped a lot and was left in the ditch for two days after I dropped it...
I use Cross, Parker, and Waterman for the moment. What I usually did was buy the mont blanc refills (forgot which one) and cut down the top so it would fit inside of the G2 giving a far better writing experience.
Yeah it might be the successor to the PD31.
Edit: If the XM-L part isn't a typo it is the next one, but I would imagine it having different output which it doesn't so maybe it isn't.
Just got the PD31. It is a nice light and has nicely spaced modes. Of course it has a reverse clicky if that matters to you and no momentary since it will change modes. Get them when you can as they only made 4000 of them.
Can look for a cheap Surefire host and slap a Malkoff in there. The M61 drop in has good thrown and generous spill and is what I run on my BCM 16". Of course if you are set on a dedicated lights those links have some nice deals.

The AW 2900's fit in my charger. They may be tight and I had to bend the prongs straight as they come slightly bent inward. I'm not sure a large 2900 button top would fit, but since they are flat tops they work.
