Santa was generous and brought me some Sealed 7's. When I get around to installing them I'll post some pictures, you know, real scientific evidence kind of pictures.
I read Virgil's post and in my opinion he said nothing really. Claims a tunnel test, and exactly what legal issues are we talking here. "the issues are basic, numerous and severe. Low beam is questionable, high beam is practically nonexistent" what are we talking about here????
Thanks Silly. I did watch the YT vid from Headlight revolution and they mentioned the Truck and Vision lights. The Sealed 7 stuck out to me because of the blinker option. Holly because of the classic look. I know that any or most modern LED is going to blow away the old Halogen's.

i'm thinking the 50 to 100 lm range would all you really need? That's just my opinion. I use a Zebra h502 run on medium 2 mode for my work light and get a full day of good light when I work(Electrician), but I am not hunting worms.
I used the 52nw for years and now use the zebra h502. Spark 52 in Med2 mode is great, but always had bad behavior when the battery level dropped even just a little. mode memory my A$$! wouldn't start upon first press of the button ect.
Now I use the zebra with NImH batteries and a charger...
the problem you are describing is the only "issue" I have with this headlamp! I use rechargeable batteries in mine and it seems when the voltage drops below a certain level this occurs. I have had mine for about 3 years and it always had a hard time starting when the battery was a little low...
