    I've been using my Lunasol 27 almost exclusively since I got it. It briefly battled with an AlTiN-plated titanium PD I had, but in the end this won out, and the PD went to England. I think. It's been a while. Just can't beat this light, really.

    Mine's been pretty stable. For pocket-size stuff I've been hauling around my Lunasol 27 since I got it - I even sold my AlTiN PD-S (for another rarity, an AlTiN S27-PD). That said, if I ever have the cash again I might try to buy back that PD-S...:)

    You know, really, if a 'normal' person asks for a good light, I tell them to get anything with a Mag Instrument logo on it. If they make a face, then they get the rundown of better-than-Mag-but-still-easy-to-find.

    Why don't Gatlight specs say what LED they use?

    The GatLights use the Seoul Semiconductor P4 LED. They specify V-bin both for marketing purposes and because the most common SSC bin in the "flashaholic" community right now is the U-bin part.

    That is one beefy-looking knife. One of the first frame-locks I've really liked the looks of! Edit: Also, I similarly cannot wait to see where this goes. I'd probably pick one of those up...been needing a good knife for a while.

    EXTREMELY Rare Lights... Let's See Them!

    I've got one of the AlTiN S27-Cs...I think there's only about three in the world. I'll try to get some pictures in the next day or so - finally some of that beautiful "golden light" is breaking through here in the rainforest. :whistle:
